Disconnect to reconnect. Everyone needs a few days off to recharge their batteries and get back to work with more energy, that's why Postharvest.biz will be closed for summer holidays from 9 to 20 August. We will be back on the 23rd with all the most relevant and fresh information about the sector. We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you that if you are not yet subscribed to our weekly newsletter Postharvest News (Monday), you can sign up for free HERE and keep up to date with all the most important news in the sector. V Postharvest Technology Course - Citrus and Emerging Crops in the Mediterranean Region in on-site and on-line format (Spanish Version) One more year, we are already working on the fifth edition of the Postharvest Technology Course - Citrus and emerging crops in the Mediterranean region that will take place at the beginning of 2022 at the Universitat Politècnica de València. Given the success of last year's edition, this year it will once again be held in both presential and on-line formats. The pandemic has left us with many bad things, but it has also allowed us to update and improve our teaching options. That is why we will once again be using the streaming modality so that people who cannot travel to Valencia will also have the opportunity to participate in this course. This includes people from different parts of Spain as well as people interested in expanding their knowledge of citrus fruits from anywhere in the world. The classes are recorded and the course participants will be able to enjoy them whenever they wish.

Publication of the book "Cultivation, post-harvest, processing and trade of berries".We are also working on the publication of the book "Cultivation, post-harvest, processing and trade of berries", which is still open for participation and we encourage all experts in the berry sector to contribute with their knowledge. The aim of this publication is to become a reference for producers, packers and marketers of this crop. The book brings together the knowledge of different experts in the sector and constitutes a compilation of all types of information on the crop, from experiences in cultivation and production to physiology, techniques, processing, pests... The whole Postharvest Team wishes you a happy summer break and if you are reading this from the southern hemisphere, Happy winter!
