New TECNOCEAM High Tech Salad Processing Line

Five mechanical engineers, a software engineer, a chief electrician and a project manager have developed in 70 days, the new high technology TECNOCEAM line for minimally processed salads based on adult leaves destined for the Swedish market (1st picture). The line can also work with baby leaves and has a compact and flexible design (30m  x 12m) depending on the needs of customers (2nd image). The line is composed of a decorer - segmenter, trimming belt, cutting system with a wide range of cutting thicknesses, 4 blowing washer  with Venturi system and automatic filling, drying with dewatering system and 2 SUPERMAXI centrifuge with a system of pre-weigh and mixture wight of 5 ingredients (four types of salad adult leaves + one baby) (3rd image). Depending on the recipe it can works between 1500 and 2500 kg / hour of raw material. The area where the cut is made is equipped with a screen that shows the recipe being processed and progression of amounts (4th image). The line is equipped with a control system of water and electricity consumption which is accessed through the “Energy saving” function. Centrifugal dryers feature the new CHECK DRY system that allows online control of drying of salad leaves. The entire line is directed and controlled from the office computer. This new design line can be delivered to the customer in 100-120 days from its order. This is probably the most technologically advanced production line existing in the market.
