For over twenty years T. R. The Fruit Logistica 2020 stand highlighted the DA-Meter ripeness evaluation instrument, used for pears, apples, peaches, …, and the specific versions for kiwi (“Kiwi Meter”), and cherries (“Cherry-Meter”). The DA-Meter, developed by Prof. Costa's team from the University of Bologna, - is an instrument that, by means of its absorbency properties, allows to measure the chlorophyll's content in a fruit, a precise index of a fruit's ripening state.
