URSCHEL LABORATORIES, INC. the world leader in food cutting technology, officially acquired JIFCO Products, Inc. The company was renamed Urschel South. All former JIFCO employees are now Urschel employees.
JIFCO specializes in CNC, computer numerical control, machining services to produce high quality parts manufactured in the United States. The company is one of the few precision machining shops in the prototype manufacturing industry.

Urschel South is currently located on Brown Street in Valparaiso, Indiana. The business will remain at that location until the expansion at Urschel's headquarters, scheduled to begin sometime in the fourth quarter, is completed.
The plant expansion will add approximately 115,000 square feet of manufacturing space.
This expansion will be the second largest construction project undertaken by the company since it built the current new campus in 2015 at 1200 Cutting Edge Drive in Chesterton, Indiana. The current square footage totals more than 410,000 square feet.
